The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) is a not-for-profit charitable organization established in 1988 to provide Calgary immigrants and economically disadvantaged individuals with services to help them establish a solid foothold in Canada. A key component of our Settlement Assistance is supporting mental well-being of vulnerable Albertans through Healthy Minds, a suite of psycho-educational and low barrier, multi-language counselling services for vulnerable Albertans. TIES Healthy Minds

TIES Healthy Minds

INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY SESSIONS

Free counselling sessions for adults, 7 days a week, daytime and evening. First languages and interpretation services are available.

Languages Available:  English, Ukrainian, Russian Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tswana. Interpretation in other languages is available on request.

WHAT TO EXPECT

How does it work?

Choose and book a session.

You provide brief information on this secure site. Then choose the counselling time, Monday to Friday, that works for you. 

Receive Confirmation.

You will receive an email confirmation. At your appointment time, the counsellor will call you. 

 Your Counselling Session.

One 45-90 minute counselling session may be enough to address you needs. Other support options can also be discussed during your session.
