We know it's hard to talk about substance use, and how it may be causing problems in your life. Did you know that there are medication available that treat opioid and alcohol use disorder?
There are treatments available for other types of substance use as well. Our RAAM clinic is here to help you make the changes you want to make regarding substance use. We will support you until you are able to connect to longer-term services. RAAM services include peer support, medication, counselling, and groups.

Note: RAAM services are for the person experiencing the substance use challenges, not their family members or friends.
What To Expect?
We offer a variety of services to those experiencing substance use, including:
- Medication
- Counselling
- Group Support
- Peer Support
During your first intake appointment, we will assess your substance use and discuss options with you. You decide if you want to pursue the next step, which is meeting with a medical provider who can discuss treatment options with you.
Note: Community Connect YYC should only be used to book intake appointments. All follow-up services must be scheduled directly though The Alex at 403-277-9869.

WHAT TO EXPECT
How does it work?
Choose and book a session.
You provide brief information on this secure site. Then choose the counselling time that works for you.
Receive Confirmation.
You will receive an email confirmation. At your appointment time, the counsellor will call you.
Your Counselling Session.
One 45-90-minute counselling session may be enough to address your needs. Other support options can also be discussed during your session.
Fee Structure
Community Connect YYC is committed to ensuring community members get the help they need when they need it, with as few barriers as possible, including finances. Some services found on the site are offered at no cost, some on a sliding scale basis, and others with a model that allows you to choose your own session fee. Every partner organization ensures that finances will never get in the way of accessing the service you need.
