Rapid Access Counselling
Children, Youth, Caregiver/Parent and Family Counselling
Kindred Connections Society
Are you a child, youth, parent/caregiver, or family who would benefit from single-session counselling? Single-session counselling is a one-at-a-time form of counselling that you can access for as little as one session, or as many as you want. Each session is tailored to one specific goal, and you leave with a plan going forward. Need another session? Not a problem, book back in for another session when you need it. Goals may include: school anxiety, peer/bullying concerns, parenting through mental health, managing separation/custody, child emotion/behaviour concerns, etc.
Through the Family Resource Networks (FRN) grant, Kindred is able to provide this Rapid Access Counselling service for free to all children, youth, and caregivers within Calgary and Area. In addition to this counselling service, if desired you will be connected to your nearest FRN Hub which includes many other wraparound supports including parenting, groups, youth programming, and connection opportunities.
