Family Fun Saturdays
Kindred Connections Society
Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for a welcoming space where families can enjoy fun activities, connect with their children, and meet other caregivers and families. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided. Participation is not required, and families can engage at their own comfort level. Activities are designed for adults and children ages 0–6 to enjoy together. Children must remain with an adult caregiver at all times. No registration required.
This is a drop-in service, and no registration is required!
Who Is This For?
People who are pregnant, parents and caregivers of children, children with a caregiver, and other family members of children ages 0–6 who are looking for support with:
- Connecting with other families and caregivers
- Family-friendly activities and opportunities for engagement
- Supporting children’s growth and development

October 3 – December 19. (No session on October 10)

WHAT TO EXPECT
How does it work?
Choose and book a session.
You provide brief information on this secure site. Then choose the counselling time that works for you.
Receive Confirmation.
You will receive an email confirmation. At your appointment time, the counsellor will call you.
Your Counselling Session.
One 45-90-minute counselling session may be enough to address your needs. Other support options can also be discussed during your session.
Fee Structure
Community Connect YYC is committed to ensuring community members get the help they need when they need it, with as few barriers as possible, including finances. Some services found on the site are offered at no cost, some on a sliding scale basis, and others with a model that allows you to choose your own session fee. Every partner organization ensures that finances will never get in the way of accessing the service you need.
